Minister inspects uplift work at girls colleges

Sindh Minister for Planning and Developments Shoaib Ahmed Bukhari on Sunday inspected the ongoing development work of two government girls colleges in Orangi Town.
Minister along with Orangi Town Nazim Abdul Haq and Naib Nazim Shahid Bashir visited the Government Girls Degree College in sector-11 and Government Girls Degree Science and Commerce College in Gulshan-e-Bahar in Orangi Town, said a statement issued here.
These projects were launched on May 29, 2004 while both are scheduled to complete by June 2007. But the projects will be completed by June 2006 due to personal interest of Minister Shoaib Ahmed Bukhari. Almost 90 per cent work has been completed. The development projects of Government Girls Degree College will be completed with the cost of Rs 46.8 million.
