The Network for Consumer Protection, a non-profit organisation, while hailing Supreme Court's move against spurious drugs, has hoped that compliance of SC orders on the part of the regulatory agencies would help bring a positive change in our healthcare system.
A press release issued by the TheNetwork here on Sunday expressed satisfaction over the SC's decision to make the Ministry of Health bound to implement its report, submitted to the apex court, having comprehensive plans to cope not only with the menace of spurious and sub-standard drugs but also with issues like high drug prices, unethical marketing and irrational prescribing, availability of essential, life saving drugs, etc.-PR
