Bears stay in front seat on ISE

Bears continued to stay in the front seat on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where selling-pressure intensified in hot favourite amid decrease in index.
ISE Ten index showed a decrease of 80.10 points as the ten index moved from 3,175.71 to 3,095.61 points. The overall turnover amounted to 877,600 shares as compared to previous volume of 564,900 shares.
A total of 140 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (125) closed in negative territory, 15 closed in positive territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its previous level.
The volume of Pakistan PTA was 400,000 shares. The volume of PTCL was 181,900 shares as compared to the previous turnover of 245,700 shares. The turnover of OGDCL was 116,600 shares as compared to the previous volume of 146,000 shares.
