Programme for special kids on May 25

19 May, 2006

A fun and food programme for special children will be held at Karachi Gymkhana club on May 25. The programme, launched about four years ago by renowned artist and social worker Jimmy Engineer, has picked up momentum and different restaurants, five star hotels, private clubs and parks have started inviting these children.
These programmes are held frequently so that greater awareness about the problems faced by these children are highlighted through media to attract people come forward and help them in their own way. Jimmy Engineer has appealed to different segments of society that they have a unique opportunity to come forward and be a part in improving the lives of these special children by offering materialistic help, which could bring a smile "on the faces of these wonderful children."
Special children from Al-Umeed, Al-Rozan, Shelter, Scinosa, Ma-Ayesha, Agosh, Asra, Darul Sakun, Hope & Faith, and Ida Rieu have been invited to attend the function.
