Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 150,741 tonnes of cargo including 135,451 tonnes import, 15,290 tonnes export cargo and 3,863 containers during last 48 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday.
The cargo comprised of 120,791 tonnes dry cargo including 84,683 tonnes general cargo; 2,006 tonnes rice; 2,250 tonnes cement; 31,852 tonnes coal and 29,950 tonnes oil/Liquid cargo.
Ten ships namely MOL Silver Fern, Yang Jiang He, Ilse Wuff, MT Swat, Badulu Valley, Ryoma, Khairpur, Sea Brilliance, Golina and Thamisa Naree sailed out to sea during the report period.
Ten vessels viz Yang Jiang He, Ilse Wuff, Thor Captain, Wan Hai-303, Elka Aristotle, Darya Yog, Haje Khereh, MT Shalamar, Orient Independence and Emerald Sea are currently at the berths.
Two ships namely Wan Hai-303 and Emerald Sea expected to sail on Monday, while six vessels viz Darya Yog, Ever Gather, Thor Captain, MT Shalamar, Maersk Alabama and Haje Khereh expected to sail on Tuesday.
Two vessels viz Clipper Kristin and Marine GR due to arrive on Monday, while eleven ships namely Kota Teraju, Sinar Bontang, Apl Pusan, Mac Andrews Swala, Satha Bhum, Kota Mesra, Kota Wangi, Bonasia, Amer, Pacific Sun-II and Seven Star are due to arrive on Tuesday.

The cargo comprised of 41,983 tonnes crude oil; 10,875 tonnes edible oil; 3,675 tonnes LPG; 1,455 tonnes sugar and 39,576 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three ships namely CV Wester Moor, MV Gallant Wave and MT Navigator Pluto sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while two more ships namely MV New Toyokaze and CV MSC Socotra are expected to sail on Monday.
A total of three vessels viz Scan Brasil, Liquid Success and Sita Mia are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely CV Scan Brasil, CV Nedlloyd Muscat and MT Liquid Success due to take berths on Monday.
MV Trinity with iron ore is due to arrive on Monday, while two more ships namely MT Seven Star and CV Sealand Mariner with containers and sulphur are due to arrive on Tuesday.
