Late Abdul Razzak Tabba, ex-Chairman and Chief Executive of Gadoon Textile Mills Limited, was a man of exceptional moral values and business acumen. Mr Tabba was a business stalwart who excelled at everything he did. His iconic presence and guidance helped develop several industries and institutions.
In a society marked by ostentatious lifestyle, he lived with remarkable humility and donated vast amount to charity in a low-key manner. Despite intensive involvement in business, he was never oblivious of the needs of down trodden people of Pakistan.
In recognition of his self-less services to the country, President of Pakistan, General Pervez Musharraf, conferred on him civil award 'Sitara-e-Imtiaz' on 23rd March 2005. On his death his business associates described him as an entrepreneur and philanthropist par excellence.
