LHCBA turns down money transfer proposal

The Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) turned down a proposal floated by President of the bar with regard to transfer of an amount of Rs 5 million donated to the bar by Chief Minister, Punjab, in a new bank.
The bar rejected the proposal of operating the account by Finance Secretary, Secretary and Vice-President of bar being against the bar rules. The bar in its meeting here on Thursday approved the annual budget of the bar and decided to establish medical and diagnostic center for the bar members. The bar also decided to expand the present library by purchasing new books.
