Goods transporters observe strike

Karachi Goods Transporter has observed a strike on Monday, which stop all transportation work for Port Qasim and Karachi Port Trust. According to the details the City Nazim, Syed Mustafa Kamal has imposed restriction on heavy vehicle not to enter the Karachi City from 7am to 11pm, this brought about the strike all over the city.
Anwar Soomro Chairman of Transport Goods Association talked to NNI told that more than 250 vehicles and 40 drivers have been detained by police after these orders. He demanded the authorities to release drivers and their vehicle.
He said that Supreme Council of All Karachi alliance, which was responsible for sugar, wheat and flour transportation to interior Sindh, was participating in this strike.
