CDGK to build Sign Tower

City District Government Karachi (CDGK) is going to build a multi storied sign tower information technology building in the metropolis in collaboration with Astra Net Com and I.J.M. Malaysia.
City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal announced this at the meeting here at the Nazim Secretariat on Monday. On the occasion, District Co-ordination Officer (DCO) Fazal-ur-Rehman, EDOs of various department of CDGK, project experts from the private sector, and the representatives of Astra Net Com and I.J.M. Malaysia were present.
In this regard, the City District Government Karachi will sign MoU with Astra Net Com and I.J.M. Malaysia on June 22, and foundation stone of the proposed building will be laid by the end of June this year.
The several storied information technology building will have all basic facilities including call-centers with around 10,000 seats, four cinemas with the capacity of 200 seats and an auditorium with 800 seats.
The proposed building will also have a shopping mall, food centre, swimming pool, a mini-hotel of 50 rooms, and car-parking lot with a wide range to accommodate 2500 vehicles at a time. While, five floors will be reserved for CDGK' offices in the building.
City Nazim hoped that the construction would augment the information technology sector in the country, besides providing employment to the youth.
