Selling-pressure intensified in trend-setters at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed healthy signs amid decrease in index. ISE-10 index showed a decrease of 93.46 points as the index moved from 2,809.79 to 2,716.33 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 264,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 630,500 shares. A total of 120 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (96) closed in negative territory, 24 closed in positive zone.
The volume of OGDCL was 143,800 shares as compared to previous turnover of 163,400 shares. The volume of PTLC was 61,200 shares. The volume of Pakistan Petroleum was 35,500 shares.
