Warner Music Group, the world's fourth-largest music company, said on Wednesday that it is issuing a quarterly dividend of 13 cents per share of common stock.
The record company, which is home to artists including Madonna, Green Day and James Blunt, said the dividend represents an aggregate quarterly dividend of approximately $19.3 million based on outstanding shares of 148.5 million. It said the dividend is payable on July 27 to stockholders of record as of the close of business June 27. The company has previously said that it intends to pay regular quarterly dividends, but will not exceed $80 million per year.
