Leader of the opposition in the National Assembly Maulana Fazlur Rehman has denied reports that the government has established secret links with him to muster his support for the proposed re-election of the President from the present assemblies.
Speaking to a private TV channel, he said there is no reality in these reports, saying that question doesn't arise of any secret relationship with the government.
About the rifts within Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA), he said from the very day of making the alliance this propaganda continues that there are differences within the alliance and once again the government is projecting the so-called reports.
To a question Maulana said the decision about contesting the next elections or boycotting it, he said that the Supreme Council of the MMA would take the decision but MMA is to remain united for all times, he clarified.
