Early closure of shops hailed

The early closure of shops and establishments by 8pm from June 9 has been appreciated by the Pakistan Cloth Merchants' Association (PCMA). In a statement issued to the press here on Friday Abid Chinoy, Central Chairman, PCMA said that this will save electricity for industrial use and the menace of heavy load shedding would be avoided to a very large extent.
PCMA chief congratulated Sindh Governor, Dr Ishratul Ibad for taking this important step. The citizens of Karachi would be saved from hardships, which they were facing for the last several months.
He, however, urged the government to implement this important decision fully, so that the crises of electricity shortage could be met effectively. He appealed the business community to extend their full co-operation and support in implementing this decision of far reaching consequences.-PR
