Work on Kachhi canal began in Dera Bugti with the restoration of law and order in the district, Project Director Syed Muhammed Ali Shah told APP in an interview here on Sunday. He said the government had allocated Rs 5.5 billion to be spent on the project during the fiscal year 2006-07.
