Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and Bangladesh High Commission in Pakistan have agreed to cooperate in transfer of tea production technology, bringing closer business communities and exchange of trade delegations between the two friendly countries.
The consensus reached about the same during a call on meeting of the High Commissioner of Bangladesh F.A. Shamim Ahmed with President of SCCI, Ghazanfar Bilour held here on Tuesday.
President of SCCI informed the High Commissioner of Bangladesh about the investment opportunities in the sectors of natural resources, tourism, precious and semi precious stones, marble, medicines, hydel power generation etc.
The matter relating to shifting of tea production technology also came under discussion. He also apprised the visiting diplomat about the goods being exported to Bangladesh from Pakistan.
Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh Allama Siddiqui, Senior Vice President of SCCI, Inayat Khan, Ziaul Haq Sarhadi and Honorary Counsel of Bangladesh Embassy Tariq Khan were also present on the occasion.-PR
