JKPL slams assault on Geelani

In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir People's League (JKPL) has condemned the assault on senior Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Gilani by Shiv Sena activists in a hotel in Jammu city, reports Kashmir Media Service.
In a statement, JKPL spokesman said that Indian ruling Congress party is directly responsible for the attack. He recalled that it was during the Congress reign that in the Indian state of Gujarat, pogrom was resorted to Babri Masjid and Darbar Saheb in Amritsar were demolished.
He also condemned the derogatory deeds of occupation troops towards Islam.
RP Saraf, Editor Nature Human Centric Viewpoint has also strongly condemned assault of the fascist forces (Shiv Sena) on senior Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Gilani at Jammu city while he was to address press conference.
Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) too condemned attack by Shiv Sainiks on senior Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Gilani in a hotel in Jammu city.
President state unit of SAD Mehta Adeep Singh said that it was a shameful act by the goons of Shiv Sena in connivance with Jammu police.
