At least 23 people were killed and an equal number hurt on Sunday when a truck filled with workers plunged into a gorge in occupied Kashmir, police said.
The accident took place at Ramban, 157 kilometres from occupied Jammu.
The workers were being ferried from occupied Jammu to occupied Srinagar when the driver lost control of the truck which toppled 350 feet into a gorge, a police spokesman said.
Rescuers recovered 20 bodies from the scene of the accident and three of 26 wounded died in hospital, he said.
