Singapore bunker prices fell on Monday but the premium to fuel oil cargo values remained stable on tepid demand for a sixth consecutive session, traders said. Prices for 380-centistoke (cst) bunker fuel were pegged at $315-$317 a tonne, down $4 from Friday's Asian close, with the differential to fuel oil at $1.45 a tonne, down from $1.70.
"There has not been much activity to speak of over the past week or so. I think most of the buyers have stocked up on their requirements well ahead so they can have a peaceful World Cup," said a Singapore-based bunker trader.
