Gram, Bajra turn lower on grain market

Some business was seen on the grain market on Tuesday as grams prices showed modest decline due to steady arrivals from upcountry centres, dealers said. On the grams side, gram garda Punjab shed Rs 75 to Rs 2550-2625. Gram dal Punjab fell by Rs 50 to Rs 3050-3125, they said.
Yellow piece Canada was down by Rs 65 to Rs 1410-1460, dealers said. Yellow dal Canada followed suit and shed Rs 50 to Rs 1575-1625, they said. Beetle Chana No 1 shed Rs 25 to Rs 2675-2750, they said. Beetle 50x50 was lower by Rs 75 to Rs 2575-625, they said. Dall beetle was sharply down by Rs 100 to Rs 3100-3175, they said.
Bajra inferior type shed Rs 50 to Rs 1050 while the superior type did not show any change at Rs 1400, other sector remained quite amid balanced demand and supply position, they said.
