All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) on Sunday said Indian occupied Kashmir is a "disputed territory". "Indian occupied Kashmir is a disputed territory pending a resolution.
Not only UN resolutions but also statements and commitments of Indian leaders on this count bear ample testimony to its disputed status," said a spokesman of the Hurriyat Conference led by Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, according to a news report.
Reacting to foreign secretary Shyam Saran's statement that Kashmir is an integral part of India, the spokesman billed it as an attempt to ignore "historical realities" that went against the spirit of the "unconditional" dialogue aimed at resolving the Kashmir issue.
