PPPP holds workers convention

Qasim Zia head of PPPP Punjab along with former Foreign Minister Sardar Asif Ahmad Ali, leaders of the party Altaf Qureshi, Navid Chaudhry, Sajida Malik, Shamim Niazi cut a cake to mark the 53rd birth anniversary of Benazir Bhutto in a workers convention at Raiwind Road, here on Saturday.
Qasim Zia speaking on the occasion stated that PPPP that had withstood the tactics of the present regime would win the next general elections, if they were held in a fair and transparent manner.
He said Election Commission should take notice of steps taken by the present government that tantamount to pre-election rigging for success of Pakistan Muslim League-Q candidates, he added.
He instructed the party workers to work hard for the forthcoming elections. He said that their efforts had previously paid dividends and the party would again win the mass verdict of the people.
