Sugar prices on the rise

The prices of sugar continue to escalate in the retail market on the one hand, and on the other, some of the consumers are facing problems in buying the commodity from the utility stores.
This is because the utility stores have made it obligatory for the consumers to buy other commodities of at least Rs50 to get sugar at subsidised rates.
Meanwhile, several buyers have strongly criticised the utility stores management for this act.
