PML-N sets up protest camp against price hike

Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) on Wednesday established a protest camp at Chowk Kutchery and staged protest demonstrations, meetings and seminars in Punjab on Wednesday at district level against price hike, lawlessness and unemployment.
The camp was attended by Allah Nawaz Khan Durrani, district president, Rana Noor-ul-Hassan city president, Shaikh Tariq Rashid, Nawab Nadeem-uddin, Begum Shaheen Shafiq, Imtiaz Gulzar Chattan, Shaikh Athar Mumtaz, Riaz Latifi, Zafar Qadri, Rana Mehboob Alam and others.
The speaker bitterly criticised federal budget and said public would get relief only when petrol, diesel, electricity and gas prices are reduced. They remarked privatisation process was not fair in the country and that the government had violated the constitution by not activating the Council of Common Interest (CCI).
