Peoples Muslim League President, Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry said that he would continue work day and night for the welfare of Kashmiris and would not compromise on their rights. He said in past the people of Kashmir had expressed their confidence in his leadership and now on July 11 again they would cast vote to PML candidates.
Addressing party corner meetings at Garhi Dupatta, Chikar and Miran Kalan on Wednesday he said that that the incompetent government, after the lapse of nine months of the last year's tragic earthquake, could not make a proper plan for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of quake survivors.
He assured the people that after coming into power the PML government would not leave them alone but would fulfil its responsibility, saying that the reconstruction of quake-affected areas would be his top priority.
Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry thanked the people for supporting and joining his party. He said that PML was the party of oppressed people and would leave no stone unturned for raising their living standard. He said that workers of all political parties were united under his party, adding that in a short period the PML has become a strong party of Azad Kashmir. He further said that even Muslim Conference ministers were joining his party.
He pledged that his party, after coming into power, would raise Kashmiris' voice at every world forum. He said that he has contacts with international leaders and would help resolve the long-standing Kashmir dispute.
Barrister Sultan said that he had chalked out a comprehensive plan to reduce joblessness to a great extent, adding that hundreds of youths would be sent to European and Arab countries for employment and similarly a lot of job opportunities would be created in Azad Kashmir.
He also dispelled the impression that after coming into power the PML would shift the Capital to some other place. He said that Muzaffarabad would remain the Capital of Azad Kashmir.
However, he said that it would be made a modern and model Capital. He called upon the people to vote JKPML candidates in coming July 11 general elections so that the people could get rid of the present rulers.
