A number of positive developments have taken place in the country over the past few year which should properly be projected abroad to project soft image of the country.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the foreign missions of course has the main role to play in this connection but it is also the joint responsibility of all the government and the civil society.
These views were expressed by former ambassador, Ghayyur Ahmed while speaking in a PTV programme on Friday. He said that media could play a vital role to project country's image abroad by tackling the endeavours of those spreading misperceptions about Pakistan.
However a will is already there and the recently held envoys conference in Islamabad was a reflection of it, he said. He said, during the conference the envoys were briefed to deliver their duties in the new global conditions to secure geo-political and economic interests of the country.
