In occupied Kashmir All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leader Syed Ali Gilani on Friday said Kashmiris have no enmity with India but they want the Indian government to honour the pledges and commitments it made to them.
According to Kashmir Media Service Gilani said that Kashmiris were fighting for their basic right to self-determination which was guaranteed to them by the United Nations resolutions.
He strongly condemned further stepping up of human rights violations and state-terrorism by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir and appealed to the world community to take cognisance of the grave situation in the held territory.
Syed Ali Gilani maintained that Kashmiris are peace-loving people and they stand for peaceful solution of Kashmir dispute by way of talks process. But, he stressed that the talks should be made meaningful and result-oriented.
He observed that as long as India does not accept Kashmir as a disputed territory there would be no progress in dialogue. APHC leader called on Kashmiris to further intensify their struggle for liberation.
