The supreme head of Muslim Conference (MC), Muhammad Abdul Qayyum Khan, and MC President Attique Ahmad Khan called on President General Pervez Musharraf here on Saturday.
Both Kashmiri leaders, who were invited to have an emergency meeting with the President, discussed issues pertaining to reconstruction of quake hit areas, grievances of Mangla dam affectees, and political situation prevalent in AJK.
President Musharraf assured them of Pakistan's usual political and moral support and said that all resources would be exploited for reconstruction and rehabilitation of devastated areas.
Later on, both Kashmiri leaders also called on Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, and separately met PML President Shujaat Hussain, PML Secretary General Mushahid Hussain, Sindh Governor Ishrat-ul-Ibad and Minister of State for Information Tariq Azim and discussed issues of national importance.
