Higher trend was seen on the grain market on Tuesday amid tight supply position, dealers said. On the gram sector gram garda Punjab gained Rs 25 to Rs 2850-2925, gram dal Punjab followed suit and picked up the same amount to Rs 3275-3350.
Yellow peas Canada gained Rs 15 to Rs 1440-1500, yellow peas dal also rose by Rs 15 to Rs 1615-1675. Beetle Chana No 1 plus Rs 15 to Rs 2975-3075. Beetle 50x50 better type gaind Rs 50 to Rs 2975 while inferior variety did not show any change at Rs 2875. Dal beetle inferior type was higher by Rs 50 to Rs 3350 and good type gained Rs 25 to Rs 3425,they said.
Strong demand pushed the prices up on the seed side, rapeseed Dadulane low type gained Rs 15 to Rs 680-725, better type maintained its overnight level. Mirpurlan picked up Rs 20 to Rs 750-770, they said.
