Imran Khan has destroyed the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) due to its dictatorial attitude and policies while top leadership has left the party after knowing that its chief is running it just for self-projection, not as a political party, said Farooq Malik Chief of Tehrik-i-Insaf (Insaf group).
He said while talking to a group of journalists here on Wednesday that the PTI was formed against the wrong policies of Benazir Bhutto and Mian Nawaz Sharif, but now its chief was working for the same corrupt politicians.
"Imran is dead against President General Pervez Musharraf. If the president had made him the Prime Minister he would have declared him a democratic person," he said. "On the one hand, Imran talks against the generals while on the other he has given top party seats to retired generals."
He said Imran should tender an apology for supporting the Musharraf referendum on a private TV channel. He said the PTI Insaf Group would convene the party's central executive committee meeting to get rid of Imran Khan.
