07 Jul, 2006

Indonesia's state marketing centre sold all 2,500 metric tons of crude palm oil offered in an export auction, the centre said on Thursday. Viragos Oils & Fats was the sole buyer in the auction, taking all 2,500 tonnes at $397.5 a tonne, free on board Begawan and Dumai, said an official at the centre, which sells palm oil from state plantations. The centre sold 2,500 tonnes of CPO for export at $391 a tonne last month.
The centre did not hold any palm oil auction for the local market on Thursday. An auction will resume on Friday.
