WTO short course: GCU certificate distribution ceremony on July 10

The Department of Economics, GC University, is holding a certificate distribution ceremony for the participants of first short course titled " World Trade Organisation and Agricultural Sector of Pakistan" on July 10.
The main objective of this course was to create awareness about the recent and emerging WTO issues and challenges so as to have a better understanding of their implications on Pakistan's agricultural sector.
The GCU also organised a lecture series on "Trade and Development" as part of this course. The Statistics Department, GCU Lahore, in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) is also organising a seminar on "Modeling of Interest Rates" on Saturday (July 8).
Professor Dr Muhammad Kazim Khan from the Department of Mathematics, Kent State University Ohio, will make a presentation while PhD scholars from the Punjab University, Lahore College for Women University, Lahore University of Management Sciences Lahore, BZ University Multan, Islamia University Bahawalpur, Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad, FC College Lahore, Education University, Lahore will also speak on the occasion.
