A spokesman to Sindh Chief Minister has contradicted a news item appeared in a section of press that Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim, who is also Sindh PML president, has recommended replacement of Nadir Akmal Leghari with Senator Abdul Ghaffar Qureshi as provincial PML general secretary.
In a statement issued here on Friday, the spokesmen described the news as baseless and fabricated and said all office-bearers of the party, including PML general secretary Nadir Akmal Leghari, were actively working to strengthen it. "The Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim has neither talked at any forum about his removal from PML general secretary post nor he intends to do so", he added.
The spokesman said Senator Abdul Ghaffar Qureshi was representing Sindh well at federal level and discharging his duties as Political Secretary to provincial Chief Minister and Additional General Secretary of Sindh PML.
