Water level increasing in Tarbela dam

The Spokesman of Tarbela Dam Muhammad Zarif Khan said that inflow of water in the reservoir is on increase and the water level in the dam is increasing daily by one to two feet. Muhammad Zarif Khan told APP here on Friday that due to recent heat spell the snow on the hills is melting speedily, thus resulting into greater quantity of water entering Tarbela lake.
The rise of water level in the dam is quite high and the inflow is approximately 2,14,000 cusecs daily whereas the discharge is 1,12,000 cusecs. At present the water level in the Tarbela Dam is 1438.30 feet. This level is increasing one to two feet daily.
