This is with reference to the MMA deciding to start a mass-level protest against General Pervez Musharraf. The double standards of the MMA can be well gauged from the fact that the leaders of its constituent parties supported General Zia with full force and never talked about democracy and the uniform.
They never thought of starting a movement against him, but against General Musharraf they not only started talking about democracy but also of his uniform and then the starting of a mass movement.
If democracy is true for General Pervez then it was also valid against General Zia. The sole purpose and agenda of the MMA is not democracy but anti-Musharraf and that is hypocrisy.
