Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior vice-president and former chief minister of Punjab Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo has pledged to work for social justice and against all forms of political victimisation in the country.
He was talking to newsmen at his residence here on Sunday after his acquittal in all the 12 cases filed against him by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) lead by Saifur Rehman during second tenure of Mian Nawaz Sharif.
"Where there will be political victimisation I will oppose it and fight against it, this is the mission of rest of my life," he said and added for this purpose, he would use his party platform.
He said higher judiciary has provided him justice and restored his respect by exonerating him from all charges. He said he has all the respect for courts and wants to see the judiciary more and more strengthened.
To a question, Manzoor Wattoo said his party had fully supported President General Pervez Musharraf and wanted to see his programmes of national prosperity moving ahead.
He lauded President Pervez Musharraf for taking judicious decision to construct Bhasha dam.
