A 100-member youth delegation under the auspices of Ministry of Youth Affairs left for China here on Sunday in connection with celebrations of 55 years of Pakistan-China relationship. Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Zhou Ying talking to the delegation said the youth of Pakistan and China are entrusted with the responsibility of further strengthening the bonds of friendship between the two countries.
He said the 100-member youth delegation from all the four provinces and Fata, is visiting China from July 9 to 21 in connection with celebrations of 55 years of Pakistan-China relationship and added that it would be reciprocated by Chinese youth in December this year.
The Chinese Ambassador, in a briefing at the Chinese Embassy, acknowledged the time tested relationship, which has now matured into a comprehensive strategic partnership.
Earlier, Secretary Youth Affairs Muhammad Saleem Mahmood, and Joint Secretary Javed Iqbal briefed the delegation about Pakistan-China relations.
The delegation would visit three cities of China-Urumqi in Xingjinag, Beijing and Yinchuan and study the modern and traditional facets of China which enjoys a robust economy with US $1.3 trillion reserves which are highest in the world.
