Pakistan Ambassador to Iran Shafkat Saeed called on Vice President and the Head of Atomic Energy Agency of Iran, Gholamreza Aghazadeh and exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.
The Ambassador briefed the Iranian Vice President on the current status of Pakistan-Iran relations, says a press release issued here on Sunday.
Both the sides agreed to work towards fully realising the potential of relations that exist between the two brotherly countries.
Shafkat Saeed said that the preferential trade agreement (PTA), which had now completed procedural formalities, would boost the bilateral trade and help reach the target of $1 billion set between the leaders of the two countries during Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz's visit to Iran in Feb, 2005.
