Sessi to spend Rs 676.7 million on health facilities

Sindh Employees Social Security Institution (Sessi) would spend Rs 676.7 million for providing better health facilities to workers, said Sessi Commissioner Rasool Bux Phulpoto. He stated this during a meeting with officials and doctors of Sessi to review the performance of medical centers of the institution here on Thursday.
He said that the basic motive of social security was to provide better medical facilities to workers. He said that an amount of Rs 676.7 million was allocated for provision of better health facilities out of that Rs 104.2 million would be utilised to purchase medicine. He warned that any complaint regarding non-provision of medicine to patient would not be tolerated. The commissioner said that the number of doctors and staff had been increased at medical centers, which were also equipped with modern machines. He directed them to perform their duty with honesty to build a better image of the institution. Medical Adviser of institution Dr Muhammad Ikram and other officials were also present.
