A US Apache helicopter crashed in a dangerous area Southwest of Baghdad on Thursday but its two pilots survived. The cause of the incident is unknown, the US military said in a statement. The helicopter was conducting a combat air patrol. The two pilots were transported to a military medical facility, it said.
