Foreign secretary level talks seem unlikely

15 Jul, 2006

The Foreign Secretary-level Indo-Pak talks are unlikely to be held as scheduled on July 21, Press Trust of India reported quoting official sources as having said on Friday. The sources further said that there was scant possibility of talks between the two foreign secretaries being held as per schedule in the wake of the serial blasts on Tuesday in Mumbai.
The foreign secretary-level talks were to be followed the next day by parleys between the Foreign Ministers to review the third round of the Composite Dialogue and set the agenda for the next round.
