Nine people were injured on Sunday when a bomb exploded in Barkhan, police said. A man placed a bomb in a bag in a radio mechanic's shop in the main market of Barkhan, 400 kilometers (250 miles) south-east of Quetta, local police officer Rahim Bakhsh told AFP.
It exploded shortly afterwards when the market was crowded by shoppers, he said.
The blast badly damaged the shop, injuring its owner and eight other people. Three seriously injured men have been shifted to a hospital in Dera Ghazi Khan, he added.
Late on Saturday a bomb exploded near a government building in Naushki, but there were no casualties.
The blast near the office of the National Data and Registration Authority slightly damaged its outer wall and shattered some windows, police official Waheedullah said.
