City District Government Lahore (CDGL), with the financial assistance of the federal government, will install water filtration plants in 150 union councils of the district, in next three years so as to ensure clean drinking water facility to the citizens.
To provide the facility of clean water to public, such plants have already been installed in six union councils of the district, District Nazim Mian Amer Mehamood said while addressing nazmeen, councillors and elite of the city, who called on him here on Sunday.
Amer told them that CDGL has installed water filtration plants at Government College for Women, Baghbanpura, Gulistan Colony, Karim Park, Rehmanpura, Bakkar Mandi and Mekka Colony while the facility will soon be made available in interior Texali Gate, Bhagatpura and Ismail Nagar.
