A special meeting of the Federal Cabinet with Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz in the chair will be held on Monday to give approval to the new Trade Policy. The trade policy for 2006-07 will be announced by the Federal Commerce Minister Hamayun Akhtar Khan after its approval from the cabinet.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has directed that the main objective of the trade policy would be to encourage free trade in the country and also to enhance and diversify exports.
