'FunFoodFitness' exposition starts

Pakistan's first interactive event "FunFoodFitness" organised by Eventage Promotions has formally started at Karachi Expo Centre here on Friday. This three-day event was inaugurated by special children from various schools courtesy by renowned artist and philanthropist Jimmy Engineer.
Pervaiz Makhdumi, DEO, Evertage Promotions while talking to media said that the objective of the event is to provide entertainment to the city of Karachi where there is a dearth of leisure and amusements. "Through F3: FunFoodFitness, we have tried to present how game technologies can cater to health care", he added. By virtue of this event, some of the activities will be introduced for the first time in Karachi.
The event's theme "funfoodfitness" is a major effort to strengthen the health system in the country. By raising awareness of neglected aspects of health care in an entertaining manner. Games for health determine how interactive activities with emerging technologies can improve consumer health education with a lot of fun.
As the name itself is self explanatory, the theme rotates around fun, a mascot has been created which leads the way to all the three avenues, be it the fun element as in interactive games shows like "Bujho to jane" or be it the new rave, DDR as in dance, dance revolution. The food court is one of it's kind as it is called the world kitchen, reputed chefs have been invited to participate and demonstrate their culinary skills. These are an alternative as well known as "Khana Bazar", where the treasures need to be discovered, as seeing is believing.
The event showcases activities that have never been done all under one roof. Roller Blading competition has been arranged operated professionally, so that the participants can enjoy themselves.
