The Afghan government has agreed to free 17 Pakistani prisoners while a joint committee has been formed to pursue the cases of the other detainees, Interior Ministry officials said on Friday. The decision was taken during a two-day meeting held in Kabul this week between officials of the Afghan and Pakistani interior ministries.
