Modest business was seen on the grain market on Saturday as many buyers remained on the sidelined due to steady arrivals from the upcountry centres, dealers said. On the cereals side, Masoor Canada gained Rs 50 to Rs 2750, Masoor dal Pak followed suit and picked up the same amount at Rs 3050 and Masoor Dal India gained the same amount at Rs 3250.
Urad Burma shed Rs 50 to Rs 1650, they said. Wheat Mexipak old at Rs 1115 and new type was registered at Rs 1130, they said. On the seed side, Rapeseed Dadulane low type was up by Rs 20 at Rs 700 and good type was higher by Rs 25 to Rs 750, other items did not move any side in process of trading, they said.
