Sikandar decides to retire from politics

Outgoing AJK Prime Minister Sardar Sikandar Hayyat Khan on Sunday said that during his tenure as chief executive, he made every effort to promote merit, justice, principles and social justice. He expressed these views while speaking at a farewell function hosted in his honour by the employees of the PM secretariat here on Sunday.
Sardar Sikandar said, the Muslim Conference government had evolved a comprehensive strategy for development of all the areas specifically the remote and far-flung areas so that the people in these areas could also be benefited from the fruit of development.
He expressed the hope that the next government of Muslim Conference would also continue to work for well being of the people and development of the areas with commitment.
About his intentions to take part in the presidential elections in AJK, he said he has decided to retire from politics, therefore he was not taking part in the presidential elections.
