Pakistani NGO team lands in Beirut

The human Rights activist and Vice Chairman, Ansar Burney Trust International, Syed Fahad Burney along with a team of 10 volunteers arrives Beirut on Sunday morning to take part in humanitarian activities in Lebanon and to distribute humanitarian aid to war effectees.
Fahad Burney condemned the war between Israel and Lebanon and asked for peaceful solution to end bloodshed before it could be too late. He appealed to the United Nations, Europe and world community to play their vital role for bringing peace and harmony in the region, before it could be too late.
He said the International offices of the Trust have already sent Rs 03 million aid for the war effectees. "Supply of relief goods has also been started from Trust offices in Pakistan". He added.
