The first meeting of South Asia Forum on ending violence against children will be held in Rawalpindi on July 24. Main objective of the moot is to review progress made by the SAF member states in two areas of early marriage and physical and psychological punishment, with trafficking in humans as cross-cutting theme, official sources told APP here on Sunday.
Minister for Social Welfare and Special Education, Zobaida Jalal will be the chief guest on the occasion, while concerned ministers from Maldives, Nepal and Afghanistan and senior officials and representatives from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, UN agencies and international donors, experts, resource persons and children would attend the event.
