Edhi Foundation delegation has donated three ambulances worth $96,000 to the Lebanese High Relief Commission (LHRC) as part of its aid trip to Lebanon to offer relief supplies to the refugees.
Gulf News quoted Chairman and founding President of Edhi Foundation Abdul Sattar Edhi from Hamra on Thursday as saying "We have decided to donate ten ambulances worth more than $400,000 to the LHRC. Yesterday, we donated three ambulances and we will donate seven more ambulances and other relief supplies very soon."
The report said, Edhi and two of his assistants arrived in Beirut on July 24 on a humanitarian mission after they flew into Syria from Karachi on July 22. Edhi said, the Foundation's job is to provide shelter, food, health and medical services during different natural and war disasters.
